took my dad to the airport at 5 am. drove past roughly 50 cop cars blocking all exits to the pentagon this morning, lights ablaze.
there's a 9-11 remembrance going on later today, i guess they aren't taking any chances.

I can't believe this journal is old enough to host an entry from that day.

I was surrounded by people who didn't care as much as I did. My dad, at the time, was at the Pentagon. My friends dad was in the basement.

My classmates didn't know anyone from DC except me. I felt really detached.
